These images represent the illness anorexia. The tape measure wrapped around the neck represents how people with the disorder try to starve themselves. The tape measure also represents how much weight the sufferers want to lose. When looking at these images the tape measure is the significant object as this is the object representing the anorexia itself.
Development Work
This development work is taking an alternative look to anorexia by looking at the side of people who suffer from obesity or feel like they are overweight when in fact there not. The jeans with the zipper down shows us that the person could not fasten there jeans up as they are too small for them or they do not fit in too them because of their weight. The message of these development images is there is always an alternative to the illness anorexia as people feel different towards there bodies. When looking at these development images it shows people suffer aswell mentally when they are over weight and they feel the exact same as the person with anorexia do. By doing an alternate idea for the development it helps people see two sides of what people really think about there body images and how uncomfortable they really feel in there own skin.
