These images are used to develop the idea of depression which express the meaning of the illness from the photographer Edward Honaker.First of all I inverted my image into a negative on photoshop then printed this onto acetate which then helps to create a photogram. When this was done I then used the darkroom to create a photogram. Before I did the actual photograms I did a practice one to figure out how long to leave the image exposed to light, so I used a light proof folder and moved this up the image after every second to see which exposure of light would be the best for my photograms, by doing this it shows how many seconds I should expose the image to the light for the best result. The best result which occurred was 10 seconds. Then I used the settings F11 and kept the projector on for 10 seconds to create the image onto the photo paper. After this I used a paintbrush dipped this in developer and swiped it across the paper to make the effect of the smudged look so only parts of the image could be seen.I also made a fully developed photogram so people can see that I can create photograms successfully and to see the difference between each of the images. By doing the photograms it shows I have developed my ideas of the photographers work by expressing it in a different way and this shows people that I can look at the photographers work and take it further
